UCSF offers drop-in vaccines for school kids

UCSF is offering a drop-in immunization clinic in the Mission District to give children the vaccines they need to start school. Parents are encouraged to bring their children if they have not yet received their shots. UCSF Valencia Health Services is open four days a week, year round, and provides well-baby and well-child checkups, in addition to its drop-in immunization service. The clinic accepts most insurance plans and immunizes uninsured children at no cost.

Date: Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Time: 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. AND 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Place: Valencia Health Services 1647 Valencia Street (between Cesar Chavez and Mission) San Francisco
