Macy's Union Square holiday tree benefits UCSF Children's Hospital
Friday, November 28
Come brighten the season of giving at Macy's annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony. For the first time, members of the community can sponsor a light on the 80-foot fir tree for $10 each. All sales go to UCSF Children's Hospital for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. The ceremony to light up the tree in San Francisco's Union Square is open to all from 6 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28 -- the day after Thanksgiving. Tickets to sponsor lights and strings of lights are on sale now through Dec. 24 at the gift shops at UCSF Medical Center, 505 Parnassus Ave., and UCSF Mount Zion Medical Center, 1600 Divisadero St., San Francisco. Or use a credit card online at www.ucsfhealth.org/tree and toll free at (888) 689-UCSF.
