Public transit
The UCSF Mission Bay campus is served by the Muni T-Third Street line, which stops at the UCSF Mission Bay Station located on Third Street near 16th Street. This applies for both north- and southbound travel — that is, going downtown or out to San Francisco's southeast neighborhoods.

Weekly tours are open to all members of the public. Tour participants will learn about the history of UCSF Mission Bay, the physical development of the campus, future development, and current programs and services. Participants will have the opportunity to view Mission Bay from the Koret Quad, enjoy the unique architectural design of the campus Community Center and Genentech Hall, and view the latest additions to our world class public art program.
The tour will lead participants through the public areas of the Mission Bay campus. Admittance to private research space will not be granted.
Weekly tours meet Wednesday at 12:00 noon in the lobby of the Community Center near the concierge desk. Tours last approximately 45-60 minutes. The Community Center is located at 1675 Owens St., San Francisco, CA 94158. Online driving directions, a campus map, and parking instructions can be found on the left side of this page.
Reservations are required for all tours. Tour reservations must be made at least one week in advance. Make a tour reservation here.
